About

Handmade jewelry inspired by and crafted in the beautiful mountains of Western Maryland

Evitts Creek is a beautiful little creek nestled in the Appalachian Mountains of Western Maryland, and the nurturing place where I began to explore silversmithing and metalworking.

My background in printmaking, especially etching metals, informed much of my emphasis on texture and embossing, and the nature surrounding me gave me all the inspiration I’ll ever need.

Living out here in the woods, inspired by the beauty these old Appalachian mountains, has changed me. I appreciate subtle details around me like never before, and I flow that appreciation into my art work.  The patterns I’ve been making to press into the sterling silver, are very informed by the beautiful native plants I am restoring on the property.

I primarily work in sterling silver and semi-precious gemstones, with some mixed metals such as brass and copper.
