Create Your Own Masterpiece!

With my studio located in the mountains of rural Western Maryland, I draw inspiration from the region's natural beauty to create unique jewelry pieces. My process is truly my own, often involving a meticulous and environmentally friendly technique of carving  patterns into brass and then pressing the pattern or texture into sterling silver using that little workhorse rolling mill you see in the pictures. Each piece - whether a necklace, ring, or pair of earrings - reflects a little bit of nature’s beauty. My signature style involves delicate leaf and flower motifs, and I primarily use sterling silver and  semi-precious gemstones. I like creating texture and nature inspired forms that mirror the natural world.

Support local farmers and artisans at the 1812 Brewery monthly Farmers Market! Enjoy fresh produce and flowers, handmade goods, and delicious food while connecting with your community. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Typically the Farmer’s and Artisan Market is held on the first Sunday of the Month from April through December Saturday from noon till 4. There’s usually local music and food provided by Mise En Place.

We love to see you in person out there enjoying all that our community has to offer!

Shows with Josh Brown

I met Josh Brown on a studio art tour in about 2008, and quickly fell in love with his pottery, but soon found myself being a welcomed part of our vibrant art community  in Western Maryland. Josh provided not only a supportive welcome into the art scene but also opened his studio to myself and other artists in the region to be able to show our work. The shows we have there are moments of community and camaraderie and just fun! You’re Invited!
