Millefleur (Thousand Flower) Sterling Cuff Bracelet | Evitts Creek Arts
Looking for a gift for a nature lover? These are a perfect choice of jewelry for the nature loving, gardener, outdoor loving minimalist! I wear my cuffs absolutely all the time, and virtually never take them off.
In my career as an interior decorator, I noticed the enduring appeal of the busy overall flower patterns in fabrics, wallpaper, art, china patterns. It was commonly referred to as a “millefleur” pattern. It pops up in patterns as long as humans have been making representations of flowers, so I’m not worried about it going out of style ;) The recent resurgence of the tiny flower patterns in fabrics has had me smiling at the endurance of the trend…so charming!
I create the patterns I emboss into the silver by hand , and it’s authentically my own pattern (not created by machine made pattern). I can get maybe three uses from a pattern I’ve made so my work is anything but mass made.
Three sizes are available
Large/Extra* Large can be sized down, no charge.
The general rules for choosing a Cuff Size:
- Measure the wrist with a fabric tape measure on the wrist where the cuff will sit.
- For small and medium , Generally allow 1/4” to 1/2” for the opening gap.
- For Larger wrists ~ 7” Generally allow 1/2” to 3/4” for the opening gap.
So a person with a 6” to 6 1/4” wrist would wear a cuff 6 to about 6 1/4” Small
6 1/2” to 6 3/4” wrist would wear the 6 1/2” Medium
7” to 7 1/2” would wear the 7 1/2” Large-Extra Large*
*Important NOTE : Please let me know if the wearer is in the large (7”) OR extra large range (7 1/2”) so I can adjust the bracelet for the best fit.
