These longish dangly earrings in tropical colors evoke endless summer for me. The teardrop shaped amazonite cabochons are paired up with a rich deep orange carnelian cabochon and a sterling silver flower nugget for a trio of colorful shapes! I have the amazonite teardrop cabs bezel set onto a layer of sterling that bears a flower pattern hidden on the backs. I think of these as a private secret garden to just make you smile to yourself.
There’s also a little frame around the teardrop segment for a little more refinement. These earrings have a vintage boho vibe to them and the color combination is really vibrant and eye catching!
All the embossed patterns used in my work are completely hand made and one of a kind. I make the patterned silver the old way with a rolling mill so the textures you see are original and not mass produced.
